Loon Lake’s history

Collection

Loon Lake sits on Highway 26 north-east of Lloydminster, in the Rural Municipality of Loon Lake No. 561, with the Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation reserve to the east of the village. It incorporated as a village on January 1, 1950.
